In plan the object is a sub-drop shape in plan. One face is less bulbous than the other, but this appears to be due to the nature of the material and not particularly intention. Off centre there is a circular hole which has stright sides. The hole is 9mm in diameter. The weight is made from fine grained limestone which contains a few fossil shells. This limestone is probably local to Warwickshire and is local Blue Lias. The hole is not naturally created.
