A copper alloy trade weight from the modern period. The weight is a circular disc with a raised rim on the top face. It weighs 13.7g or 0.48oz and can be interpreted as a half oz weight. Possible fishing weight, shaped from sedimentary rock. The weight is roughly rectangular shaped at the base and tapers slightly towards the top where there is the remains of what may be a circular suspension loop. The loop has broken away at the top, probably as a result of the stone being fairly soft and porous(it is a type of sandstone).
The weight is 106.4g in mass and measures 67.4mm in length, 50.8mm in width and 27.4mm in thickness.
