A complete rectangular flat lead or lead alloy weight of Post Medieval dating (AD 1600 to AD 1800). The weight is flat, and rectangular in shape. The obverse depicts two recessed stamps. A probable Lion passant facing right above a castle. These two stamps are within in a right angled cartouche. The reverse has a slight concavity removed from one side. It measures 16.1 mm in length, 14.7 mm wide and 2.5 mm thick. It weighs 3.9 g. The weight is an off white colour, with an even surface patina.

A cast lead alloy weight with a circular cast hole and transverse bar across the centre. The upper surface is domed whilst the reverse is broken revealing a hollow centre. One long edge has a irregular oval shaped socket and it seems most likely that this weight was cast onto a larger object. As such it is most likely to be of a modern date (1600-1800) The weight measures: 26.2mm in diameter, 16.7mm high and weighs 32.11 grams
