A complete probable lead weight or plumb of uncertain date. The lead is conical with a flat base and rounded tip with a small circular dimple. The object has a stippled, cream patina with signs of wear. Dimensions: Length 46.3mm, Diameter 11.2mm, Weight 30.80g. Lead weights are difficult to date when found as stray finds as they are used for long periods of time however similar weights on the database include ESS-EB2B97, WILT-BB2605 and SWYOR-24A123. The latter two, however, unlike the present example have a hollow core.
