A cylindrical, copper alloy object, possibly used as a weight, of uncertain date, possibly post-Medieval c. AD 1600 - 1850. This artefact weighs 21.1g (c.0.75oz) and has a height of 18.14mm and diameter of 18.14mm. The walls of the weight taper slightly to a flat terminal with a raised square placed centrally. All of the surfaces are relatively smooth apart from the square terminal which is rough. The finder suggests that the object may be a stamp, although any letter or number is illegible. It could alternatively be a broken suspension loop.

A cast lead alloy weight, probably a trade weight, dating from the Medieval period, c. AD 1300 - 1500. It is sub-triangular with rounded corners, possibly intended to be shield shaped but there is wear and damage to the lower edge. A large chip at the lower right corner appears to be recent. Some areas on both sides are thicker than the edge and there is the possibility that both faces may once have been decorated but the design is no longer legible. There is a 8.84mm diameter circular perforation in the point of the shield. The weight has an orangey-brown patina. It is 46.64mm …
