A complete lead-alloy weight with copper-alloy insert of Early-Medieval date, c.AD 800 - 1100. The weight is sub-circular in plan and D-shaped in section. The upper, rounded surface is inset with a spherical piece of copper-alloy. The base is flat and undecorated. The weight is 21.7mm in diameter, 13.6mm thick and weighs 29.2g. Viking weights are known from the Danelaw with coins (SWYOR-D00CF2) and other copper-alloy items (YORYM-9624E2) inset within them. Probably an Early medieval biconvex cast lead weight probably a spindle whorl probably dating from the 9th to the 11th century. It is decorated with a raised zigzag or radiating line pattern. The perforation has an internal diameter of 8mm. The object is very worn and has a greyish/white patina. The diameter is 32mm and the weight 35.11g.

A cast lead object, possibly a gaming piece of later Early-Medieval date. It is solid and pyramid shaped with a flat base with four regular sides. The lead surface is heavily oxidised resulting in a cream/white patina.The length is 20mm, the width is 18mm and the weight 28.37g. Similar conical lead objects, but which are hollow, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire (for example SF-C01997, SF-50B784, SF-6F5256 and SF-6F7361). Probably an Early Medieval to Post Medieval lead alloy wieght or possibly a gaming piece or token. It is circular in plan and half round in section. One face is flat and undecorated. The domed face is decorated with seven raised pellets surrounding a central larger pellet, This central pellet appears to be decorated with an impressed saltire. There is a small sub-triangular projection extending out from the base. Difficult to date accurately but likely to date between c410 and c1750 AD. An Early Medieval circular lead weight with a copper alloy stud embedded in the top. There are several Viking weights known that have an earlier piece of metalwork, often with insular decoration, reused by setting into the top of the weight. This example is a circular stud with a raised rim and a moulded central triskele design of three S shaped moulded swirls all springing from a central circle. Lead Viking weight dating from the late 9th - early 10th century. The weight is circular with a flat base and top; the sides taper slightly from the base to the top giving an overall truncated conical shape. The weight has a copper decorated flat copper alloy mount in the top surface known as a single strike Pressbletch mount. The mount has approximately a quarter missing where it has either worn or broken away. The mount is very thin and may have been pressed over a pre-moulded surface on the weight.
