A cast copper-alloy circular trade weight diameter 33mm, thickness 5.5mm, weight 26g. It has a raised rim on the upper face that has a single incised line running around the top.The centre has been stamped with a crowned CR denoting King Charles, although one cannot distinguish between Charles I (1625-1649) and Charles II (1660-1685). An ewer for the Founder's Company, maker of weights, an 'A' for 'averdepois' and the last on maybe a sword for the City of London.
