A lead alloy weight. It is shaped like an elongated sphere. The neck is long and flat, sub rectangular in shape. In the centre, near the tip is a suspension hole. The base is flat in the centre and would therefore stand. Weights like these are seen in the Roman (for example SUSS-EA2CCC) and Medieval (NLM-5D1F37) periods. The weight of 192g does not accord with the Roman weight system, as 1 semis is equivalent to 164.5g. A cast lead alloy standing weight, probably medieval to post medieval in date (c AD1200-1700). The weight is pyramidal in shape with a rectangular flat base and four flat sides, two wide and two narrow. The weight is widest at the base, narrowing towards a flat rectangular top. The weight leans slightly to one side. There are signs of decoration on the larger faces of the weight, outlines of two figures being visible on one. The surface of the weight is uneven and rough, with a white patina.

A complete but worn copper alloy trade weight dating to the reign of Queen Anne (1702-1714).  The weight is circular in shape with a raised rim and slightly dished centre. A crowned A is visible as well as a sword and possibly a ewer at the bottom, which indicate the monarch and that is was produced in London. The reverse is flat and unmarked and the object has a light green patina. Dimensions: Diameter 25.6mm; thickness 3.2mm; weight 8.23g See Biggs (1992: 50).
