A discoidal lead alloy trade weight of Medieval date, c. 1200-1500. The upper surface has moulded decoration in high relief comprising of an encircled cross pattée within a circle. There are three pellets in each quadrant, similar in design to the pennies of Edward I, II and III. The centre has a small hole at the centre which is visible from the base of the weight.
