Copper alloy vessel fragment. Cast cauldron leg, of sub-rectangular section, tapered towards its wedge-shaped rounded foot. Two incised vertical grooves appear on the back of the leg. The smooth surface on top probably butted the outside of a large cast vessel of globular form. Sooted from use on the hearth. Suggested date: Medieval, 1200-1500 Length (in use): 48.8mm, Width: 47.6mm, Thickness: 24.7mm, Weight: 185.37gms

A copper-alloy repair patch (or folded 'paperclip' rivet) from a post medieval vessel probably dating from AD 1450 - 1550.  It has a sub rectangular outline in plan, folded from a lozenge shaped sheet. It was used to fill small splits in sheet vessels. The patch has an even dark green patina. A fragment of a cast copper alloy Medieval to Post Medieval cauldron dating from c.AD 1200 -1700. The fragment is part of the the upper rim of a vessel. The rim is narrow and has a very slight (<0.5mm) external lip. No traces of remain of the carination outwards into the body of the cauldron. The fragment is a dark matte green colour and has a pitted surface with linear scratches running transversely across both surfaces. There are no indications of decoration. The leg is broadly rectangular with a D-shaped section. It is widest at the top, where it would meet the body of the vessel and tapers to a worn break. The object is undecorated. A fragment from a copper-alloy vessel, a handle lug and drop handle from a chafing dish of late medieval or early post-medieval date (AD 1400 - AD 1600).  The handle fragment is rectangular in section. The exterior is decorated with triangular panels filled with pressed dots and an incised line around the rim. The interior surface has three circumferential ridges.
