Fragment of cast copper-alloy cooking vessel, slightly burnt. It has a small drilled circular hole at the bottom right. There is also what seems to be another hole below the first, but it is not intact. The internal face of the object is smooth, with a few marks of wear. The outside shows wear but is rougher in texture.

Copper alloy vessel mount of uncertain date, possibly Roman The mount is of looped form, probably representing the inner part of a hinge (with an overall length of 41.9mm and a weight of 13.6g). The attachment plate is of elongated lozenge form (with a length of 35.3mm, a width of 14.7mm and a thickness of 2.5mm - 3.7mm), which is slightly wedged, thinnest opposite the hinge. The mount was attached to the vessel by a single iron rivet, which is partially preserved (giving a surviving depth of 6.3mm). The opposite face has carefully bevelled edges and the iron rivet does not appear …

Conjoined handle and partial rim sherd of a glazed earthenware jug of later medieval or post medieval date (1400-1600). The fabric is similar to that of North Devon fine gravel tempered ware. It is a hard earthenware: with well sorted frequent quartz and grit-like inclusions. The fabric is a mid grey colour with oxidised orange interior / exterior surfaces. A green coloured glaze has been applied to the interior of the vessel as well as the rim itself. The form of the handle is rod like being joined to the sidewall of the vessel with a large flared area; the handle is undecorated and …
