A hooked copper alloy suspension or attachment fitting of early modern (Georgian or Victorian) date, possibly of military or equestrian use. The object has a stamped convex plate in the form of a double rose in relief; from the back of this projects a stud with a screw thread which is screwed into a tubular shank. Lead alloy probable strap fitting. Rectangular double looped frame with rectangular section elements, with clear mould lines running along all long surfaces; one loop broken, its sides having parted at one corner.
