Medieval copper alloy bar-mount, D-sectioned with two rivets and circular roves. On the underside there is a recess with a sloping base. Very probably from a shield-shaped strap-end such as Egan and Pritchard 1991, no. 738. 4.2 x 11.5mm. Complete length of rivets 5mm. 14th century.
