A piece of copper alloy casting waste, metal working debris or slag of unknown period, Bronze Age to Post-Medieval in date (about 2000 BC - AD 1800). In shape, the waste is an irregularly shaped mass which is also irregular in section. The surface is rough and granular. There are some black inclusions and a brown rounded pellet. The waste has a mid green mottled patina. Measurements; length 43.9mm, width 41.7mm, thickness 11.4mm, weight 47.0g.

A large piece of iron tap slag of uncertain date, probably Roman to Post Medieval, about AD 43 - 1600. It is dense, magnetic and black to purple in colour with some rusty patches. It forms a thick plate which is rough and irregular on the lower face and sides, with characteristic runs of solidified molten metal across the top face. Both ends of the piece are broken. A piece of possible slag or other industrial by-product such as dross, clinker, fuel ash, of unknown date, possibly Bronze Age to Modern, 2200 BC - AD 1900. It is a shiny light grey material, light in weight for its size, very soft (can be scratched with a finger nail), and it has a soapy feel. One face is irregular with many rounded particles, some of which are magnetic, and small holes. The other faces are smooth and fine grained, with conchoidal fractures. The piece is 41.3mm long, 33.3mm wide and 16.2mm thick. 14.5g.

Two pieces of slag, clinker or other similar industrial by-product. The pieces are rough and irregular, with bubbles and cavities. One has a low density and is grey with some undulating dark grey layers and some areas of orange colouration. The other is low in mass but glassy with conchoidal fractures. There is a lump of orange stone on one face, and a shiny, purple layer on the other face, with the rets being a dark grye to black colour. Both react to a magnet.
