A complete cast copper-alloy harness pendant, dating to the Medieval period (c. AD 1200-1400). Incomplete Roman copper alloy pendant in the form of a phallus dating to the period c. AD 120 - 300. In the form of an erect phallus with moulded knops forming the testicles. The shaft tapers along its length, terminating in moulded glands. In profile the phallus is slightly curved with two worn stubs at the apex of the concave surface, indicating the position of the missing suspension loop.
