A Post-Medieval cast copper-alloy leather decorative mount, probably dating to c.1500-1700. An asymmetrical flat plate with a trefoil head and protruding sides, tapering down to a bifurcated base, with moulded foliate decoration on the face. The reverse has two rectangular cross-section fixing spikes, 'bent over', positioned at either end of the plate, which is otherwise flat. The surface displays a patchy dark green patina. A complete cast copper alloy zoomorphic mount of Post Medieval date, c.AD 1500-1900. Description: The object is a leonine mount, depicting a three dimensional lion's face, realistically rendered. It is sub-spherical in form and, unlike most other available examples, is not surrounded by a moulded frame; the mane creates the outer edge. The reverse is smooth and concave but shows no signs of mount fixings, such as studs or spikes. The object is a mottled green in colour. A Medieval cast copper-alloy bar mount dating to c.1150-1350. Circular domed body with a central 2.5mm diameter piercing. D-shaped cross section arms extend to either side terminating in much smaller domes that are drilled for rivet fixings. The reverse is flat apart from a concave dished area behind the central dome. The surface displays an even dark patina. Length 19.1mm, width 7mm, thickness 2.5mm, weight 0.9g. A cast copper-alloy zoomorphic leather mount probably dating to the post medieval period. Irregular shield shaped sub-oval plate with a relief moulded depiction of a facing lion's head. At either side on the plate surround are two rivet fixing holes with the round, flat headed rivets still in place. The reverse has a circular concave dished area behind the head and the two protruding rivets either side are bent over at right angles leaving a gap of 2mm.
