A flint probable microburin of the Mesolithic period, 10,000 BC - 4000 BC. It is a tertiary blade fragment of cream coloured opaque patinated flint. Only the proximal end of the blade survives. Some working on the right edge may have been to encourage the blade to snap where desired, forming a microburin, the discarded proximal end of a blade. It is 9.3mm long, 10.1mm wide and 2.2mm thick. 0.2g.

A flint Mesolithic microburin, the waste material from making microliths, dating from 10,000 BC - 4000 BC. It is formed on a tertiary blade of flint which is patinated to white. There is some platform preparation at the rounded proximal end, and the distal end is snapped. There is a small area of short, abrupt, sub-parallel retouch at the distal end of the right side, to notch the blade, which was then snapped across the notched part. This piece, the proximal end of the blade was then discarded. Length 18.4mm; width 9.4mm; thickness 2.6mm; weight 0.55g.

A flint microburin of possible Mesolithic date. It is formed on a dark grey flint which is heavily patinated. It is sub-triangular in plan with a square proximal end with short semi-abrupt parallel retouch that was possibly used to prepare the striking platform. There are some removals to create the notch at the left side (dorsal face uppermost proximal end towards the observer) of the distal end. The right hand edge has been snapped to produce an oblique point at distal end, this edge also has short, abrupt, parallel retouch. The microburin is 12.36mm long, 7.42mm wide and 3.98…
