A complete struck / hammered copper alloy jetton, issued by Hanns Kravwinckel II between AD 1586 and AD 1635, in Nuremberg of the rose/orb type. Obverse: *HANNS. KRAVWINCKEL IN NVREBE. Three crowns and three lis arranged centrifugally around a central rose, all within an inner circle. Reverse: VERBV[M DOM]INI.MANE[T IN ETERN] An Imperial Orb surmounted by a cross pattee, within a double stranded trefoil, all within an inner circle.  C.f Mitchiner 1988, p438, no. 1516

A corner of the jetton is missing.  Obverse: Very worn and hard to determine type. Obverse description: Uncertain. Obverse inscription: Illegible. Reverse description: Orb within a three-arched tressure with a pair of annulets outside each cusp. Around the outside edge, there is a rosette at 12 o'clock with chevron-shaped pairs of leaves leading towards it. Length: 21.19mm. Width: 10.81mm. Thickness: 0.25mm. Weight: 0.84g. Corroded and worn, the obverse is probably steel above three flints; sparks on left and burning kindle stick on right.  The reverse: Short cross pattee with leafy ends, trefoil between each arm.
