An incomplete enamelled copper alloy heraldic mount, probably from a chest or casket. Half of the mount is missing. Quatrefoil in plan with shallower rounded projections between the four main petals. The mount is decorated on the front face with a central shield, probably originally halved and divided horizontally across 'per fess', as the arrowheads in the lower half are too stunted not to have extended into full-length arrows in the missing lower section, rather than being pheons. The two arrowheads are pointing left against a cross-hatched background. Above the arrows in the upper …

Cast copper alloy attachment device for heraldic pendant dating from the medieval period, that is c. AD1200-1500. IT was made from a folded over sheet of metal with a star-shaped terminal with a central hole for the rivet. The folded-over bit still holds the horizontal axis bar from which the pendant was suspended. The suspension loop of the pendant survives, but the pendant itself is missing.

Gilt cast cu-alloy heraldic mount or part thereof dating from the medieval period, i.e. c. AD1200-1500. The mount is composed of a small rectangular or almost square shield which sits on top of a short stem. The stem could be broken at the end, but the casting suggests no break. Thus, the item may possibly have been an ornamental heraldic pin or rivet. The shield is small (11x13mm) and only decorated (moulded decoration) on one side. The moulding is very worn as is the gilding which only remains in places at the terminal of the stem. The coat of arms shows a diamond within the rectangl…

Heraldic quatrefoil shaped mount with traces of silver gilding. It has been suggested that this is the same item as PUBLIC-94977B, an enamelled and silvered heraldic quatrefoil mount of similar length and approximate findspot. The weight of KENT4374 as recorded is clearly wrong and so does not help to clarify the situation.
