Complete copper alloy nummus of the Roman period, dating from 330 - 333 A.D., Reece period 17. The coin is a commemorative coin, minted at Constantinople in AD 330 - 3.  RIC VII, 63 Constantinople. The coin weighs 2.3g and is 19.4mm in diameter, 1.3mm thick. Obverse: Laureate, helmeted bust left, wearing Imperial cloak and holding sceptre over left shoulder.  Legend: CONSTAN/TINOPOLIS. Reverse: Victory advancing left standing on galley prow with spear or sceptre and shield.  No legend.  Exergue: CONSA.
