Copper alloy nummus of the House of Constantine, c.AD 330-335, GLORIA EXERCITVS reverse type, with two standing soldiers facing each other, holding reversed spear and resting hand on shield, between them two standards with triangular terminals, but the obverse inscription and reverse mintmark are illegible and missing, so the identification cannot be more specific. A similar example of a nummus of Constantius II (AD 323-361), dating from c.AD 332, is illustrated in RIC Vol.VII, page 138, Plate 2, No.255.

Copper alloy nummus of Constantine II as Caesar (317-337), Reece period 17, dating from AD 330-335, GLORIA EXERCITVS reverse type depicting two soldiers facing each other with a spear in one hand and the other resting on his shield, with two standards between them with triangular tops. The mint mark on the reverse is mostly missing but appears to be three letters, so perhaps PLG for Lyons or Lugdunum, and the triangular tops can be seen on coins of this type minted in Lyons, or Trier which could be TRP as in the example below from Cornwall. See record WMID-D5ECB3 for a similar coin…
