RIC VII, p.215, no.526. Reverse type: GLORIA EXERCITVS, depicting two soldiers standing, facing each other, both holding a standard. Dimensions: Diameter, 16.5mm. Thickness, 1mm. Weight: 1.76g.

Copper alloy nummus of Constantine II as Caesar (317-337), Reece period 17, dating from AD 330-335, GLORIA EXERCITVS reverse type depicting two soldiers facing each other with a spear in one hand and the other resting on his shield, with two standards between them with triangular tops. The mint mark on the reverse is mostly missing but appears to be three letters, so perhaps PLG for Lyons or Lugdunum, and the triangular tops can be seen on coins of this type minted in Lyons, or Trier which could be TRP as in the example below from Cornwall.
