An uninscribed silver Iron Age unit, probably of the Southern Region / Berkshire, c.60-20 BC; variation of "Abingdon Zoo " type.  The obverse features opposed long-legged  boars that are back-to-back and separated by two rings and a ringed-pellet with duck heads and necks at the head and tail. There are rings and ring pellets on the left side of the coin, and under each boar.   The reverse of the coin has a ladder-mane horse left with a long-legged boar below, wheel and rings rings above ( Similar to ABC, p.65, no. 1001).

Reverse of coin is very worn with no inscription legible, but a draped standing figure is still visible. Possibly Providentia standing l., resting elbow on column and pointing to a globe at her feet. 'Danebury Double Boar' uninscribed silver unit of Iron Age date (65-40 BC). The obverse features opposed boars that are back-to-back and separated by ringed-pellets at the head and tail; both boars have a pelletal sun below. There is also a lyre-like design on left-hand side of the obverse. The boars are similar in design to ABC 884 (However the design of ABC 884 features the boars feet to feet. separated by a pelletal sun). The reverse of the coin has a horse left with a whirling sun above and ringed-pellets below (similar to ABC 872).

Roman silver Galleria c 103-102 B.C. The coin is a Roman Republic denarius serratus minted in Rome.  Moneyer: L.Memmius. The obverse features the head of Saturn left with laureate;to right, harps. The reverse of the coin features an image of Venus with sceptre in biga (chariot with two horses running) right. Above the horses' heads Cupid flies left with a wreath, towards Venus. A damaged Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) silver penny of Ecgberht, king of Wessex (802-839), non-portrait type, dating to the period c. 828-839 AD.
