An incomplete Hod Hill type brooch dating to AD 80 -120. The head is hinged with traces of a rusted iron spindle and a copper alloy pin. The head tapers back to a flaring collar on the bow, behind which are a series of transverse ridges as the bow narrows to an old break. The foot and catchplate are missing.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman Initial T-shaped brooch, of Colchester derivative hinged pin type (Hull T125; Mackreth (2011) CD H) dating to the late 1st to early 2nd century AD. The wings are cylindrical with incised lines around the tips and contain an axis spindle retaining the pin (27mm in length). The bow is convex, with a moulded spine decorated with incised oblique lines, and has ridged margins. It tapers back to a bend and break. The foot and catchplate are missing. The surface has traces of tinning.

A copper alloy trumpet brooch of Hull Type 157C dating to the Roman period. The brooch is nearly identical to an example in Hattatt (1989, p. 327, Fig. 186, no. 1528). The head end of the bow expands outward in a typical 'trumpet-like' form with a broadly D-shaped cross-section. The object tapers in thickness from the head curving down towards the leg of the brooch. The foot is missing.
