An incomplete copper alloy Roman brooch of Prestatyn type. Due to the rearward facing hook and the circular pierced plates on the wings, with decorated upper bow humped over a broad crossbar,sprung in  the Polden manner. The brooch is missing most of the catch plate, foot, spring and pin. The head and most of the bow have survived.
