An incomplete Roman copper-alloy silvered Colchester derivative hinged bow brooch, dating to AD 43-120. An almost complete Roman cast copper alloy brooch of headstud type dating to c.AD 75-200. The brooch consists of a hinged pin attached to short wings on either side, and a curved bow with a column like foot and catch plate. The outer faces of the wings are decorated with three transverse grooves. To the reverse is a narrow cylinder with a slot in the centre which holds a hinged pin and axis bar. The pin remains articulated. A incomplete Roman copper-alloy Colchester derrivative brooch, dating to c.AD 75 - 175.  The brooch is in two parts The upper bow and wings form one half, the lower bow and catchplate form the other, the pin is missing. The hollow cylindrical wings are undecorated, the upper bow has a central protruding rib along the bow, at the top of this ridge is a circular loop, the rib terminates at the foot of the brooch. An incomplete Roman copper-alloy continental plate brooch, dating to c.AD 80 BC - 250. The brooch appears to have originally been trefoil shaped in plan, one of the lobes is missing. Each lobe is decorated with a convex circular boss. At the top of the brooch is a drop shaped protrusion which to the rear houses the lug to support the now missing pin.
