A Post Medieval leather strap with iron strap-end, dating to the 17th century. The strap consists of two strips of quite thin leather that would have been attached by the stitching but also the iron strap end, which appears to have been cast onto the leather. The leather consists of six rows of stitching running in parallel along the length of the strap. This suggests that the stitching is decorative, especially as it is very fine, but was possibly functional too. Very intricately decorated square quatrefoil medieval copper alloy belt mount with separate central convex headed rivet. At each corner a trefoil with engraved details, and two moulded three-quarter round cut-outs on each side. A central square area, set lozenge-wise between four annulets, contains concentric lines of pellets. 14 x 13mm. 1mm thick. Rivet projects 3mm from the reverse..14th - 15th century.

.A fragment of uncertain metal copper-alloy object with incised decoration possibly from a Roman military belt sets dating 43-410. The fragment is rectangular, almost square in plan and section. It is decorated with a large ring and dot motif at the centre, the middle of which is 3.72mm wide. There is an incised border running up the edge of each side of the fragment 2.70mm wide. A cast copper alloy single looped rectangular belt slide c. 1150 - 1500 AD. The slide has a broadly rectangular cross section with the front edge being wider than the rear (4.55mm). The front edge has a slightly doomed form. The surface has numerous file marks from hand finishing and has a mottled dark green eroded surface. It measures 16.72mm by 16.66mm with a thickness of 2.4mm and weighing 2.8gm.

Early Post Medieval copper alloy belt fitting, 31mm long, 17mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 2.86g. The object consists of a circular shaped and cross sectioned loop with a small tri-lobed terminal. This has with two circular fixing holes at each side lobe, one still has an iron rivet in place. There is a possible third hole in the central lobe and these would have attached the object to a sword belt or similar.

Early post Medieval copper alloy belt fastener, 42mm long, 18mm wide and 6mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 7.99 grams. The object is in the form of the letter S with a rectangular cross section. The shape represents a snake which is decorated with a face at one end. This has incised eyes and mouth and its body has a decorative motif near the centre and the rest of the body is covered in a series of incised stripes and depressions, forming scales, along its body. The object is the fastener for a sword belt.
