Description: The top of the strap end is trapezoid in plan and, when viewed in profile, is in two halves, creating an opening for the strap to have been inserted. It has one surviving sub-circular terminal loop (internal measurement 10.78mm tall 14.65mm wide) with concave reverse and bevelled sides forming a D-section shank on which there is a decorated square boss before attaching to the main decorative plate.
