An Early Medieval silver coin; a penny of Harthacnut, Arm and Sceptre type dating from Jun 1040 - June 1042. The moneyer is Blacaman at the Nottingham mint. See North Volume 1 (1994) number 811 on page 171. The coin is complete, but cracked around the inside of the legend. It is 18.2mm diameter, 0.8mm thick, 1g.
