A Medieval silver coin; a cut farthing of Henry II (AD 1154 - 1189), Tealby coinage dating from AD 1154 - 1180. Uncertain mint and moneyer. The obverse is very worn, as is the edge of the reverse, but the central cross and cross in the angle remain strong. The coin is 9.8mm long, 9.4mm wide and 0.4mm thick. 0.25g. See North number 952 - 961/3 in Volume I, page 217.

A silver Medieval coin; a penny of Henry II (AD 1154 - 1189), Cross and crosslets (Tealby) type, Bust C dating from AD 1161 - 1165. It was probably minted by Rogier at Canterbury. There is a crack in the flan and part of the coin is missing. See North number 957 on page 217. The coin is angular and measures 21.5mm diameter, 1mm thick and 1.24g.
