A silver long-cross penny of Edward IV. This coin is probably from the Second Reign of 1471-1483. The mintmark is poorly formed, but is probably either a cross pattee or a cross in circle, both of which were employed between 1473 and 1477. The coin is worn in places. It measures 15.6mm in diameter, 0.2mm thick and weighs 0.72g.

A worn, clipped and bent 15th-century silver late medieval penny of Edward IV (second reign, 1471-1483 AD), Durham mint, struck under Bishop Lawrence Boothon local dies(1471-1476 AD; North 1662). This coin has suffered some cracks towards its circumference. It has also been pierced on and within the inner circle through the reverse face probably for reuse as a jewellery item. The piercing is at 8 o'clock on the obverse and 4 o'clock on the reverse.
