A very clipped medieval silver penny of Edward IV (second reign; 1471-83), Type XVIiii (North 1648), mint: York (episcoal), sede vacante, dating to 1472-75 . Ref: North 1991: 94; Wren 1995: 137. The coin is worn but legible although has been heavily clipped removing approximately half of the inscription.
