Copper alloy coin weight representational of a Half Noble. Uniface. Boat formed of three upward facing curves. Central mast with fleur-de-lis to the left and lion to the right. Weight is 47 grains. This is closest to the weight of a half noble coin according to Withers "British Coin Weights" page 15. Representational weights date to the second half of the 15th century, around the time of the second reign of Edward IV.

Medieval coin: an Irish hammered silver penny, cut down so that all of the legend is removed, and only the area inside the inner circle is preserved. The penny is an Irish issue of Edward IV's 'light cross-and-pellets' coinage, minted during his second reign, between 1473 and 1478, at Dublin, Waterford, Drogheda, Trim, or Cork. Such coins are very frequently clipped, and rarely recovered intact. Spink(Scotland and Ireland): 6360-6387A. D: 12.7mm Th:0.62mm Mass 0.3g.
