A silver hammered coin dating from the Medieval period: a penny of Edward IV, Second Reign (1471-1483) struck at Durham for Bishop Lawrence Booth from local dies, 1471-1476. N. 1661. It has crosses over the crown. The coin, which is worn and abraded, has a diameter of 12.82mm, a thickness of 0.81mm, and weighs 0.47g. Much of the edge of the coin is missing.
