Incomplete clipped silver long cross penny of Edward IV, second reign (1471-1483), mintmark rose (1471-1483 for York). An archepiscopal issue of Archbishop Neville of York when he was restored from 1475-1476. The obverse has a key to the right of the neck of the bust and a G to the left and a rose mintmark, which are the identifiers of coins issued by Archbishop Neville at the York mint. The fleurs on the crown are so close together that they form a row of annulets above the headband. The cross on the reverse has a quatrefoil in the centre. Spink 2130.
