A struck Medieval silver penny of Edward IV, minted in York (1480-1483). It is archiepiscopal, minted under Archbishop Thomas Rotherham, with quatrefoil with central pellet on centre of reverse. Type XXIiv North 1654. A portion of the legend is missing, making the coin oval. There is a slight bend in the extant legend. It measures 15.90 mm DIA x 0.64 mm TH and weighs 0.60 g. A similar coin can be seen in the database CPAT-11D675
