An extremely abraded and worn silver Medieval penny, probably of Edward IV (1461-1483), second reign (1471-1483). Durham mint, attributable to Bishop William Dudley. Obverse: facing crowned bust, possibly V to right. Reverse: long cross with D in centre. As North (1991), p 98, number 1665-1666.
