Note: this coin is heavily clipped and worn resulting in the loss of most of the legend from both the obverse and reverse.

An illegible and clipped silver long cross penny of later Medieval issue, probably issued by either Henry VI or Edward IV, dating from AD 1422-1483. Both legends are illegible, but the quatrefoil in the centre of the reverse cross confirms that the coin's mint is of York. It is likely that this coin was of Episcopal issue either Sede Vacante or by Archbishop George Neville on behalf of Edward IV (Second reign, AD 1471-1483) due to remaining detail.
