An incomplete medieval possible florin penny of Edward III group A (North type I), mint of Durham. The reverse reads CIVI/TAS/DUn/ELN with the reveresed Roman N. Carl Savage comments: 'I have had a quick flick through the usual reference books and none of them mention this legend. This coin has no episcopal marks and so belongs to the sede vacant period dating the mid 1345'.
