A probably modern replica copying an early medieval silver penny of Harold II (1066) Mint: Bristol, moneyer: Ceorl (North 837). Ref: North 1994: 182.
The coin's weight, style and condition are consistent with it being a modern replica/fake, its weight considerably higher than most examples of Harold II's coinage (most finds at c.1.2-1.35g).
Slightly worn, slight bend across the middle.
