Obverse: bust of the king facing, crowned and diademed. Legend: HENRI [REX].
Reverse: quatrefoil with piles type with four semi-circles and four piles alternating, each pile surmounted by an annulet. Legend: +A[LF]RE[D:O]N:LVN
Allen (2022, appendix B, p.191) lists Alfred as a London moneyer for this type.
