A copper alloy Post medieval probable coin, probably a Scottish twopence of the Stuart period, about AD 1567 - 1694. The coin is badly worn, bent and cracked, making further definition of the type impossible. It is the right size for a two pence, and it may have a NEMO ME IMPUNE LACESSET legend. Dimensions; diameter 17.5mm, thickness 0.8mm and weight 0.5g. It could also be a copper alloy imitation of a Scottish coin, or a 17th century trade token, or a small jetton.
