A broken cut halfpenny of William II (AD 1087-1100), 'cross in quatrefoil' type dating to the period c. AD 1089-1092. The last letter of the moneyer's name (N) and the first letter of the mint (P) are visible. Although it is not possible to ascribe this coin to a moneyer and mint conclusively the combination of letters does narrow it down to the following: Colbern at Wallingford or Aestan at Winchester. North N852.

A complete but worn and bent Medieval Anglo-Norman silver penny of William II (AD 1087-1100). Cross in quatrefoil type minted 1089-1092?. Probably Lincoln mint or possibly Chester and of uncertain moneyer. The name of the moneyer appears to end with the letter F (possibly E).
