Silver coin fragment. About one third of a hammered flan with motif and circumferential legend on either side. Alex Bliss kindly comments as follows: 'Pretty certain this is a Burgundian late 15th century billon stuiver, probably Philip the Fair (1482-1506)'. ?Obverse description: indeterminate figurative motif, possibly part of facing bust, also features resembling two lis. ?Obverse inscription: [--]ODO[--] ?Reverse description: cross with central rhomboid with a lis in its angles. Reverse inscription: [--]RO[--] Diameter (in excess of): 17mm, Weight: 0.62gms
