A worn, incomplete and heavily clipped Medieval silver coin; probably a penny of Edward IV. This coin appears to be an Irish issue coin minted between c.1478-1483 as part of the 'Suns & Roses/Rose-on-Cross' issue. There is a rose to the left of the neck and the obverse appears to show a rose at the centre of the cross and roses forming some of the pellet marks in the angles.
