A copper alloy Irish penny of Edward IV (1461-83), suns and roses type issued AD 1478-1483. The coin has been clipped or struck on a small flan as no legend survives on either face, although it may be a Dublin mint coin. Spink 6393-6398.

A clipped silver medieval penny probably of Edward IV (first reign: 1461-1470; second reign: 1471-1483). Obverse shows crowned bust facing [ED]WARDVS RE[...]. Reverse shows long cross with quatrefoil at the centre, 3 pellets in each quadrant CIVITA[S EBORA]CI. Minted in York at an uncertain date.
