Scottish Medieval silver penny of Alexander III (1249-1286) dating to AD 1280 to 1292, second coinage, class Mb2, mullets of 24 points on reverse may suggest Berwick mint, Spink 5054, Stewart and North (1990:10). The coin is bent and has two chips, one large to the left of the bust at 9 o'clock which turns into a crack reaching the centre of the coin and another smaller and covering more of the diameter to the right of the bust between 2 and 3 o'clock.
