A contintenal immitation silver sterling of John the Blind, minted in Luxembourg c. 1320 - 30. The coin is extremly tarnished, and much of the detail is obscured or lost. The obverse features a crowned bust facing and the inscription reads: [+ЄIWΛnES]DNSƵRE[X•B•]. The reverse features a long cross pattee with three pellets in each angle, and the inscription likely reads: VILЄ LVCЄ MBV GЄN. For a similar example, see Mayhew 1983, 266var Dimensions: weight: 1.09g, diameter: 17.17mm, thickness: 0.73mm
