A copper alloy Early Medieval coin; a Saxon Styca, probably of Archbishop Wulfhere of York (854-900AD), Wulfred as moneyer. It has a diameter of 12.28mm, thickness 1.38mm, weight 0.81g. The centre of the reverse of the coin is damaged. See North number 197.
