An incomplete Medieval silver cut halfpenny coin of Stephen (AD 1135-1154), Awbridge type dating to AD 1154-1158. North (1994) number 881 (BMC type vii). Uncertain moneyer, mint probably Northampton or Norwich. The coin is 18.8mm long, 9.1mm wide, 1.0mm thick and weighs 0.68g. It has been cut along the line of the reverse cross.

A medieval Watford type silver penny of Stephen dating to AD 1136-1145.  Obverse depicts a crowned bust facing right and holding a sceptre in the right hand.  There appears to be a die erasure comprising a horizontal line from the mouth of the bust across the sceptre.  Reverse depicts a cross moline with a fleur in each angle.  Mint of Wilton.  Moneyer Falche.  North vol 1 (1994), p 203, no 873.
